Corvino The river has recovered what was taken away. Nature, not as the Almighty would think the Mayor of Diamond on our behalf, has invaded the part of the bed of the river in recent years in which the bodies responsible for protecting land and natural resources in the municipality have allowed, in our opinion, a series of abuses.
In particular, please note the contents of our complaint, made in conjunction with other associations and representatives of cultural, political and environmental circles, with a note of November 14, 2005 (protocol 11724 of the Public Prosecutor of Paola), where we report the deposit of fill material in 'bed of the stream Corvino, in the countryside of the City of Diamante (CS), and the diversion of water itself, by recognizing a situation of abuse and violations and endangering public safety.

The administration in recent months said they had made costly interventions, with provincial funding, to provide for the safety measures of the riverbed of the river Corvino but none of this has served to ensure the safety of the area and local residents. Since we have an inkling that these actions are devoid of any scientific justification and aimed at restoring the situation of illegality, already incurred for use as a parking lot right in the river bed areas, we urge the authorities to address, for each part of their jurisdiction to provide for the monitoring and evaluation of probable danger of the situation that has arisen or may arise near the mouth of the creek to Diamond Corvino, to protect for the safety of persons and property.
